La Profesora Raquel Salvatella de Prada, presentará el próximo día 12 de Mayo en la Clase de Juegos un proyecto muy interesante sobre Juegos Tradicionales.
I am currently working as a computer artist and visiting assistant professor of the practice at the department of Art, Art History & Visual Studies at Duke University. My focus is on Motion Graphics, 3D Modeling and Animation, and Digital Design. My latest work, “The letters project”, is a collaborative installation featuring poetry, letterforms, prints and animation, highlighting the potential of digital media in translating the written word. Before joining the Duke faculty in 2008, I was Creative Director at HG Media, a multimedia design company in Princeton, NJ. I also worked in Madrid and in London.
My background as a commercial artist reflects my interest in design as a tool for communication, persuasion or even manipulation. I studied Music Education at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (U.A.M.) and Computer Arts at the Istituto Europeo di Design (I.E.D.) in Madrid and the School of Visual Arts (S.V.A.) in New York.
